Why I Wear a Tinfoil Hat

You know by now if you have read what I’ve written, or been around me when people make the mistake of letting me talk about what I want to talk about, that I am a kook.  Yes, I believe things that you have been told that only crazy people believe.Davalon ad  Why would you want to read any more of that nonsense now?  Because it is true and it will impact our future.

I came into a wealth of secret knowledge when I wrote and published my first good novel, Catch a Falling Star.  Of course, like most of the things you research on the internet, ninety-nine per cent of everything is big, black rubber hoo-haw lies.  I researched a lot of things that I have always been fascinated by, but specifically I investigated UFO phenomenon.  I already followed author Stanton Friedman and knew who Bob Lazar was before starting my research, but I wanted to dig deeper and find the truth.  My novel, after all, is about close encounters of the third, fourth, and fifth kinds… including an invisible invasion of Earth from outer space.  I wanted to portray such events as alien contact and alien abduction as realistically as possible.  But then I found stuff like the Disclosure Project headed by Doctor Steven Greer.  Did you know he has been collecting eye-witness and whistle-blower information in written and video form since the 1990’s and presenting it to members of congress?  There is an immense database of information about contact with UFO’s and the government’s response to it that can be cross-referenced and even corroborates itself.  There come a point at which eye-witness testimony, even loony-sounding testimony, has to be accepted when there is a preponderance of evidence.

The thing that makes the case most strongly for me is the provable amount of cover-up and misdirection that the government has applied to this body of knowledge.  They are still doing it.  NASA footage and photographic records are open to the public and available online.  Lots of people have examined the wealth of evidence very closely and have found things that the government apparently overlooked.  There are also an even more impressive number of identified re-touched and faked photos of the Moon and Mars and especially the Earth from space.  Things have been removed so that we the people will not see.  Some nut-cases even believe we never actually went to the moon.  Some of the moon footage and photos are provably fake.  (But you can also spot the landing sites of the Apollo missions on the surface of the moon with some of the very good telescopes available now… The proof of our moon landings is there.  The stuff was redacted and faked for different reasons… a different cover-up.)

So, why does this matter?  Maybe we are better off being protected from this secret knowledge.  We are too fragile to take it.  There will be riots in the street and the economy will crash.  We are safer being ignorant of all of this.

It’s time we were given the straight poop (because everybody hates crooked poop… at least they should.)  Our world is dying from pollution and global warming, yet the alien technology can provide clean, free energy.  Rich people are exploiting the poor and the middle class and so much suffering occurs that doesn’t have to happen if we embrace the potential for taking our place in a galactic community that apparently already exists and that we are excluded from solely on the basis of how dangerous our own ignorance makes us.

Truth That’s Hard to Take

HildaAfter cooking the noon meal, (I have discovered a way to burn hot dog pieces that makes them taste good when stirred into the pot of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese) I was putting away the dishes I had washed, sorting out the silverware (actually made of stainless steel, not silver you potential burglars reading this blog could steal) and it hit me…  We have too many forks.  There are four separate kinds of forks in the silverware drawer, big-big forks, littler big forks, big-small forks, and little small forks.  It is an OCD nightmare for a chronic sorter and cataloger like me.  And the most frustrating thing of all is that my days of retired leisure are either spent doing the maddeningly mundane, like fork-sorting, or lying in bed writing and obsessing and writing and thinking and obsessing on the internet and writing some more.  Actual fun, I have none… and sour sauce is the only sauce I get with which to savor the life that is left.

The more I research things on the internet (for writing science fiction and fantasy humor for young adults… and never just to waste time!) the more I discover things that are true that I really wish were not.  I don’t have the life-force and energy left to expend to fight these things I have found, but they need to be fought.  Let me give you some fer-instances;

The world is in the grip of profiteers who want to continue to pump oil and mine coal out of the ground and burn it all for energy in a way that is the most profitable, regardless of what it does to our world.  Global warming and ocean acidification threaten all life on earth, including human life.  If mankind does not unite on this issue, we are going to put out the candle flame that is life on Earth.   And members of Congress are bringing snowballs into the capitol building to prove that climate change is a hoax, and climate-change deniers debate science and have seats on committees about science and energy policy.

So, we are all going to die in a matter of decades if we can’t transform profit-minded people who will happily kill us all as long as they can maintain their super-profitable exploitation of the natural world.  I know that sounds like hyperbole.  “Happily kill us all?”  Surely there are no powerful people out there who would willingly do that.  They must be doing this all accidentally, surely?  But there are people in power who have already proven what lengths they will go to for their for-profit enterprises.  Consider the actual evidence for what happened on 9-11.

I know, people don’t want to hear that 9-11 was actually perpetrated by the American government.  You may have already dismissed me as a tinfoil hat nimrod for making such a claim.  But look at this evidence.  Regardless of the fact that conspiracy theorists are offering theories supported by a multitude of facts versus the unsupported inconsistencies in the official government explanation, there is proof that the official version is propaganda.  Government explainers and debunkers offer only surface solutions to problems with the government’s story of 9-11.  The videos I have linked here both reference an obvious attempt by the government to cover their tracks.  Sonnenfeld worked as a photographer for FEMA.  He reveals the myriad of details he witnessed and photographed in the destruction and aftermath of 9-11.  He was one of only a couple of photographers who were allowed to take such pictures.  Because he did not keep the government’s secrets, he has been accused of the murder of his first wife (though it was apparently previously ruled a suicide) and now faces life in prison so that the US Government can control his testimony about what happened.  I desperately wanted to disprove the conspiracy theorist when I first stumbled over this information in 2012.  I searched both sides.  I now know that some human beings are despicable and profited from mass murder.

So the obvious conclusion is… we are all gonna die!  Do I actually believe that?  Of course I don’t.  I believe in solutions to problems.  I believe that human beings are good by nature, not evil.  Evil is a learned behavior.  It is a behavior that is outnumbered and usually overcome by the general goodness of mankind.  Will the 9-11 perpetrators ever be punished?  Probably not.  Will we extinguish our own planet?  I hope not.  If I am wrong, and the evil in our world outweighs the good, then we deserve what’s coming to us, and the universe will find a new way to express the goodness inherent in being alive.

We Are Not Alone

The Photo Paffooney I have provided for today is one I have been sitting on and pondering over for several months now.  It isn’t the cloud formation that is troubling, it’s the light.  You see, the problem is, it was early morning.  The sun was in the east, not far above the horizon.  This picture shows two bright lights glowing behind the clouds in the southern sky.  So, what were they?  Lights that merely hovered there.  We are in the zone flown over both by DFW and Love field.  These weren’t airplanes.  I checked UFO reports continuously.  Three times unidentified objects were reported in the Dallas Fort-Worth area.  The reports were online, but not covered by local media, newspapers or TV.  In fact, they rather swiftly disappeared from You-Tube.  So, what does it all mean?

Well, you know I am a nut-case.  If you’ve read any of my tinfoil hat posts, you know I think the Roswell incident revolved around at least one crashed ship from another star system.  I also think the primary proof that we have that we are not the only intelligent beings in this universe is the very fact that the government has worked so hard to convince us that it is not so.   Liars tend to protest too much.  And there is an ever-increasing pool of whistle-blowers that have risked everything to come forward with tales of close encounters and government programs to conceal the science we have learned from back-engineered alien space-crafts.  You don’t have to believe me.  Look up the Disclosure Project and Dr. Steven Greer and Astronaut Edgar Mitchell.  Hear it in their own words on You-Tube.  I am a kook, but I’m not the only one… and some of them have impressive resumes.

Am I claiming, then, that my picture shows UFO’s from outer space?  Of course it doesn’t.  It is an unidentified phenomenon that would be easily explained if I just had a few more facts… like the amount of facts I have looked at that make me think that We Are Not Alone.

Not Alone

So, was the purpose of this post merely to remind you that I have an idiotic faith in flying saucers?  Not at all.  I am in the midst of week of total isolation at home.  My family went to Florida for Spring Break to visit my oldest son.  I stayed home with the dog (somebody has to feed her and pick up poop).  Actually, I am not well enough to travel and I convinced them that it would be okay to go without me.  And it is okay too.  I may be full of self pity and feeling lonely and blue right now like some sort of fool, but I am not alone.  By myself, sure, but not alone.  I got to thinking about all the people my life has touched over the years.  I have known teachers in four different school districts, people in five different communities, workers at QT where I buy my Big Q cup of Diet Coke every morning, family members by the freight-train-full, cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, great aunts, grandparents long gone, and over 2,500 students who sat in my 31 years of classrooms.  I guess I know a few people, huh?  And none of them have truly left me… not even those who died.  As I continue to deteriorate and die… and continue to put my wealth of life experience into silly fictional forms, I realize they are all still with me.  It is the only real wealth a human being ever has.  I, like you, like all of us, am never alone.

Finding the Truth

Ted Cruz articlelaOu4vk

I am an intelligent human being and I understand a lot about science and how to do research.  Unfortunately, I am also now retired with time to burn when I can’t make much use of any physical activity other than surfing the web and finding out things I have always been wondering about.  I say unfortunately because I really dislike most of what I have discovered and found corroborating evidence for.  I have become, for lack of a less loaded-with-excess-baggage sort of term, a conspiracy theorist.    Aliens did crash near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, and the American government did recover the craft and alien crew.  JFK was murdered by a hit squad working for and with the CIA, and George H.W. Bush, whose father was a Nazi supporting Adolf Hitler during World War II, was most likely the event controller on scene that day, although he claims he wasn’t in Dallas that day or wasn’t even a CIA operative at the time, despite photos and a letter from J. Edgar Hoover that disprove both of those claims.   And most disturbing of all, the attack on the U.S. on 9-11 was a fake terrorist attack perpetrated by the elements of the American Government that Eisenhower warned us about, calling them the “military-industrial complex”.    Three buildings fell down in a manner that suspiciously looks like a controlled demolition done by professional demolition experts, and only two of those buildings were struck by airplanes.  The sheer weight of evidence generated by the cover-up alone guarantees that we are looking at an event papered over with falsehoods that we are expected to accept and not question.  Is it a coincidence that George W. Bush was president and his brother Marvin Bush was in charge of a company that did security for the World Trade Center complex?   Architects, airline pilots and plane manufacturers, and law enforcement personnel have all ruined their careers (and some even lost their lives) by expressing publicly their doubts over the government’s version of events.

Here is a Youtube video you might want to check out if this is totally new to you;

9-11 WTC -0151 04

So what does this mean for pointless little people like me?

We are increasingly being treated as farm animals.  Rich people have taken over control of our government and society so that profit-takers can continue to do whatever it takes to continue reaping all the rewards while we do all the work.  Keep in mind that pigs and calves are kept in pens where their movements are completely constricted, not even able to turn around and face the other direction, all so their muscles are never exercised, and their meat remains as tender as possible.  We have no say in what happens to us.  We are merely here to do the work, and be as productive (and possibly tasty) as possible for the least amount of compensation possible.

Ted Cruz as Grandpa Munster is such an apt image for this problem.  He is a laughable clown throwing Texas cow poop all over the American government.   But he is also an un-dead blood-sucker with no human soul (at least that he hasn’t already sold to someone).   Will he be the next president of the United States?  I sincerely hope not.  He is totally owned by the powers in the darkness (dark money providers like the Koch Brothers who are so dark that the Koch Brothers are probably only the outward face of the problem and someone else is behind the scenes).  But it appears to me that he is only the joke candidate that is there only to guarantee that we are forced to choose either Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton, both of whom accept and represent financial interests and bankers who melted down the economy in 2008.

The scariest thing on the web, I think, is the message in the Georgia Guide Stones.  Who put them there?  What do they mean?  Here is what Wikipedia says are the inscriptions on the stones;

A message consisting of a set of ten guidelines or principles is engraved on the Georgia Guidestones in eight different languages, one language on each face of the four large upright stones. Moving clockwise around the structure from due north, these languages are: EnglishSpanishSwahiliHindiHebrewArabic,Chinese, and Russian.

  1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
  2. Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
  3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
  4. Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
  5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
  6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
  7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
  8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
  9. Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
  10. Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

How are we supposed to get the world population from 7 billion down to 500 million?  We are not going to murder everyone not a U.S. citizen, are we?  Or everyone with a economic worth below a million dollars?  I would like for some of these guidelines to come into play.  4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 are all very good ideas.  1, 2, 3, and 10 all chill me down to the marrow in my bones.  I am not cancer.  And now might not be a good time to be a farm animal… particularly not Daffy Duck.

So make of it what you will.  I believe these things are at least partially true.  Am I a loon?  Yes.  But don’t let that keep you from looking into these things yourself.

My Tinfoil Hat for UFO’s

I have been a conspiracy-theory nut for some time.  Back in the 1970’s, my father and I went to a movie called Chariots of the Gods.  It presented the insane theories of Erich von Daniken as if they were fact.  It mentioned the Nazca Lines, Stonehenge, the Great Pyramid, and other ancient wonders and seemed to show depictions of ancient aliens in the art of those cultures.  My father and I were convinced by his arguments and thought there really must be something to it.  I went to college with a real hunger to learn more.Erich von Däniken

I was disappointed to learn later that the man was a completely unprofessional, untrained archeologist, and that he may have actually stolen his main thesis for the Chariots book from Carl Sagan and  I. S. Shklovskii in their book, Intelligent Life in the Universe.  Sagan would go on to say;

“That writing as careless as von Däniken’s, whose principal thesis is that our ancestors were dummies, should be so popular is a sober commentary on the credulousness and despair of our times.  I also hope for the continuing popularity of books like Chariots of the Gods? in high school and college logic courses, as object lessons in sloppy thinking. I know of no recent books so riddled with logical and factual errors as the works of von Däniken.”

—Carl Sagan, Foreword to The Space Gods Revealed (quote and citation borrowed from Wikipedia)

So I went through a number of Sagan-influenced years of my life saying that there was no sound reason to believe that out of an infinity of places to visit, interstellar tourists would want to come and visit here.  Does a normal, sane tourist want to go to an island full of cannibals?  Our movies, after all, always depict us killing, dissecting, or taking advantage of alien visitors.

But then I discovered the whole story of the Roswell, New Mexico crash in 1947.  Convinced at one point that the crash really was a Project Mogul weather balloon, I began to discover the work of another alien-visitor-obsessed gentleman by the name of Stanton Friedman.  This man is much harder to dismiss.  He has a master’s degree in physics and spent fourteen years as a nuclear physicist “for such companies as General Electric (1956–1959), Aerojet General Nucleonics (1959–1963), General Motors (1963–1966), Westinghouse (1966–1968), TRW Systems (1969–1970), and McDonnell Douglas, where he worked on advanced, classified programs on nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets, and compact nuclear power plants for space applications.[2] Since the 1980s, he has done related consultant work in the radon-detection industry. Friedman’s professional affiliations have included the American Nuclear Society, the American Physical Society, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and AFTRA.” (quoted from Wikipedia… I know, I know… but this is all verifiable information, not made up or imaginary like von Däniken’s.)  He is also the first civilian to investigate the Roswell crash.  He began by interviewing the air-base’s intelligence officer during the incident, Major Jesse Marcel.

More and more I became interested in the phenomenon and the people who research it.  I have a pretty good list of liars and clowns who talk about aliens, and I will use some of that in a future post.  There is comedy gold in that topic.

But I do believe that aliens are real and have visited our planet.  I began researching the topic again for my novel, Catch a Falling Star, because it centers on an alien invasion and a clash between incompetent space travelers and single-minded Midwesterners who can’t possibly believe.  There are just too many people surfacing with stories to tell about alien encounters, UFO sightings, and government cover-ups.  People like Nick Pope, a former Minister from the British government, Paul Hellyer , a former Defense Minister from Canada, Edgar Mitchell, an Apollo astronaut,  and numerous technicians and inventors from McDonnell-Douglas and other aircraft manufacturers are coming forward in legions to testify that things like this are very real.

Wearing the Tinfoil Hat

I get laughed at when I talk about some of the conspiracies that engage and utterly horrify me.  Yes, I believe there was a conspiracy involved in the events of 9-11.  Even if you accept the government’s version of what happened, you accept a conspiracy too.  So, what is more realistic to believe in?  Did 19 Muslim terrorists with some training in Afghanistan really take over four airliners with box cutters?  Entering the cockpits where they would be opposed by at least equal numbers of people (if they were not actually outnumbered), take over with 100 % success, not allowing any pilots to reach down a few inches and set off a hijack alert system?  Then fly the planes, making them do aerial maneuvers that would’ve torn the aircraft to pieces at speeds beyond the capability of the aircraft at the altitudes they were executed at?  With pilot skills so inferior that their American instructors laughed about it?  And then making the buildings fall down due to fire even though no high-rise concrete and steel skyscraper had ever fallen down due to fire before?  Even making WTC-7 fall down though it never got hit by a hijacked airplane?  And all three skyscrapers fell straight down into their own footprint, suspiciously like a controlled demolition?

Or could it be that Neo-conservatives like Paul Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld felt that they needed a “New Pearl Harbor” in order to make profitable warfare in Iraq (With untapped oil reserves) and Afghanistan (with mineral wealth like Lithium for batteries)?  Does it maybe matter that Larry Silverstien, who not only bought the World Trade Center complex shortly before the events with leveraged debt and faced a billion dollar project to remove the asbestos problem from the buildings, but took out an insurance policy that covered acts of terrorism on the buildings and scored a doubling of billions of dollars because the two planes represented two acts of terrorism?  Does it matter that L. Paul Bremer didn’t show up in his World Trade Center office that day as some of his chief operations people were meeting about possible financial problems of embezzlement or fraud and were almost all killed while the evidence they were presenting was destroyed?  And this is the same Paul Bremer who would become the occupational governor of Iraq, managing the corporate exploitation of Iraq by companies like Halliburton?

It bothers me that there was no real investigation of the entire attack.  The steel from the destroyed buildings was quickly disposed of, sent overseas to be quickly recycled rather than forensically examined.  It bothers me that a retired Chemistry professor from Denmark, Niels Harrit, found incontestable evidence of nano-thermite  in dust from the WTC disaster.  It bothers me that a physicist like Steven Jones could give up his teaching job at BYU to found a group like Scholars for 9/11 Truth & Justice because he was so certain that the government explanation of events was a deliberate lie.  It also bothers me that groups of reputable people form organizations like Pilots for 9-11 Truth and Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth and the 9-11 Family Steering Committee have so many legitimate questions that the government and mass media refuse to answer.  I may be obsessing about a conspiracy theory, but there is a conspiracy to obsess about, questions to be answered, and people who need to answer for what was actually done.
