Raiders of the Lost Penwork

Still being ill, I had time to go through old notebooks for scan-able pen and ink art. I found a dragon’s horde full in the notebooks I had for collections of Dungeons and Dragons pictures, from games of old played with former students in Cotulla, Texas in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.

  1. That Fort Doom would not be the residence of Baron Ludwig von Hendriks, Lord of the Black Eagle Barony, would it?

    • It was the home of Cerebus the Aardvark, created by Dave Sim, and used as a Dungeons and Dragons character by a fifteen-year-old boy in 1983,

      • Just checking. The Fort Doom to which I refer was the source of some pretty awesome adventures for my group and I in the 80s. Their travels through my modified version of Karameikos led them to the area around Fort Doom more than they wished 😉

      • The name was borrowed from Karameikos, but the campaign setting was created by me. The kid captured the castle and renamed it himself.
