The White Knight

I come from a place of comic-book morals.

Where heroes make meaning and then save the day.

But in my career as a teacher, I’ll say…

The white knight can lose and then run away.,

But in storyteller realms where stories are orals,

The true heroes manage to carry the fight

By using their magic to create their own light

And then, in the end, it will all come out right.
