Forgive me. This is sort of an angry teacher thing.
You are forgiven. Seeing her list of generous donations to campaigns of sitting senators, there should have been more than a few recusing from voting for her. When coupled with her actual poor answers to questions and lack of experience, it does not bode well to picking the best person.
I may be retired, but I still care passionately about the pile of horse poop being generated in front of educators and the order to climb into it that inevitably follows.
